ACCESS THE ENTERPRISE IOT MARKET IN ASEAN

Thailand is currently on its 12th National Economic and Social Development Plan (2017-2021) with future growth forecasted to be stable between 3% - 4% as private consumption and public and foreign investments continue growing.
One of the plan’s key focus is the Thailand 4.0 policy which aims to revolutionize the majority of the country’s industry through digitalization. Under Thailand 4.0, the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) is set to be a pillar of digital and economic transformation in the country. The government is set to invest $45 billion to develop the area with the Digital Park Thailand as its core. The park will house digital infrastructure crucial to the country’s aim to be a digital innovation hub.
The Thailand 4.0 policy has highlighted opportunities and investment trends in 10 targeted industries, divided into two broad categories:
1. First 5 S-Curve industries: Next-Generation Automotive, Intelligent Electronics, Advance Agriculture and Biotechnology, Food Processing and Tourism Aims to enhance the competitiveness of the country current strengths through technology innovation;
2. 5 New S-Curve industries: Digital, Robotics and Automation, Aviation and Logistics, Biofuels and Biochemicals and Medical Hub Aims to develop five additional industries to accelerate on the new industrial base growth.
Supported by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES) and Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), the 30th edition of Asia IoT Business Platform aims to bring together end users from public and private sectors to explore the possibility of adopting IoT solutions to build smarter cities and efficient business. Over 500 senior stakeholders from government, telecommunications, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, healthcare, banking and financial services will be present to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by IoT.
Eligible Singapore registered companies who exhibit under the Singapore Pavilion led by SGTech will receive iMAP funding* from Enterprise Singapore.
