Wong Wai Meng

Keppel Data Centres Holding Pte Ltd

Wong Wai Meng is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Keppel Data Centres Holding Pte Ltd (KDCH), a joint venture between Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation Ltd (Keppel T&T) and Keppel Land Limited. As CEO of the data centre division, Mr Wong spearheads the company's thrust towards being one of the leading data centre developers and solution provider in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Keppel, he was Vice President of BT Advise, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Turkey (AMEA), which is the professional services, presales and solutions selling organisation for BT across AMEA. He was also concurrently appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of BT Frontline Pte Ltd, a regional leading provider of end to end IT Services, now fully integrated into BT Global Services as BT Advise.

Being active in contributing back to the industry, he is now serving as Chairman in the Executive Committee, having taken positions as Councillor, Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary in the past. He is also a Senior Member of the Singapore Computer Society and sits on the Technology Strategy Committee of Mount Alvernia Hospital.

Andy Sim 
Managing Director, Public Sector & Commercial
Dell EMC

Andy brings with him over 30 years of industry expertise with global companies including Dell Technologies, Samsung, Cisco Systems, Silicon Graphics, 3M and Hewlett Packard.

Currently, at Dell Technologies, Andy is the Managing Director of Public & Corporate Segment in Singapore. He has been instrumental in integrating the Dell and EMC merger, transforming the team to achieve the #1 market share in the server/storage/PC business. Andy has close engagements with the public agencies on their Smart Nation initiatives and works with medium-sized enterprises on their Digital Transformation journey. He is passionate about sustainability, and he is a Social Impact ambassador within the company.

Andy is also passionate about education and talent development. He is a member of the ITE Electronics and Info-Comm Technology Academic Advisory Committee (EITAAC), which reviews and advises on course curriculum.

Kevin Wo
Managing Director
Microsoft Singapore

As managing director for Microsoft Singapore, Kevin Wo is responsible for developing and driving growth strategies for all of Microsoft’s product, service and support offerings in Singapore. He also builds on the company’s over 29-year presence here by creating local opportunities, growth and lasting impact through the application of digital technologies.

In addition to his role at Microsoft, Wo serves as a Board Member at Info-Communications Media Development Authority of Singapore, and other chambers and associations including the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (Board of Governor), Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (Board Member) and SGTech (2nd Vice Chairman).

Wo joins Microsoft Singapore in November 2016 with a 23-year track-record in the IT industry, having held leadership roles in sales management, technology consulting and large-scale system integration. Prior to joining Microsoft, Wo spent close to seven years with Avanade, a leading provider of innovative digital and cloud services, business solutions and design-led experiences. He first joined Avanade in January 2010 as its vice president and country manager for Singapore and was subsequently its senior vice president and managing director for ASEAN. Wo previously held leadership roles at several leading IT and business consulting firms including Oracle, IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers and National Computer Board.

A Singaporean, Wo graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Computer and Information Services. He also holds an MBA from the Strathclyde University, Glasgow, UK.

Wo is married with two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and learning to cook.

Tammie Tham

Ensign InfoSecurity

Tammie Tham is the Chief Executive Officer at Ensign InfoSecurity, one of Asia Pacific’s largest pure-play cybersecurity firms.

Tammie is an industry veteran with 19 years of experience in the cybersecurity field. Prior to Ensign, she was the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Accel Systems & Technologies, a cybersecurity systems integrator. Tammie has extensive experience running cyber businesses across the ASEAN region.  She previously led the APAC Cyber Security Business Unit at BT Frontline, a subsidiary of BT Global Services, where she was responsible for expanding its cyber business in ASEAN and building a footprint in Asia Pacific. Before that, Tammie was leading the ASEAN Security Practice at IBM.

Tammie also sits on the Board of Trustees of the Singapore Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Cyber Security Agency’s Cyber Security Awareness Alliance, which aims to enhance awareness and promote adoption of essential cybersecurity practices.

Gavin Chua
Head of Infrastructure Engagement, APAC
Facebook
 
Gavin Chua leads government, industry, and NGO engagements to develop Facebook’s internet infra investment interests in the APAC region. He is part of the HQ investment team for expansion planning, to support billions of people using Facebook’s family of apps. His responsibilities include supporting Facebook’s first data center in Singapore, and building Smart City partnerships in APAC economies.

Gavin’s prior roles at Facebook HQ involved reviewing deployment plans globally, for data centers, submarine cables, Edge/caching nodes and connectivity solutions. He also developed policy strategies for Facebook to respond to internet/telecom regulations in APAC.

Prior to Facebook, Gavin was a partner at Control Risks advising multinationals on investment due diligence in emerging markets in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Before Control Risks he was with the Singapore Prime Minister's Office, covering a national security and strategic planning portfolio.

Early in Gavin’s career, he had experience running an angel investor-led technology startup, teaching as a university adjunct faculty, and conducting APAC-focused research at a think tank (Singapore Institute of International Affairs).

Lau Shih Hor

Lau Shih Hor is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Elixir Technology, a progressive and leading tools and platform provider of next-generation Smart Nation Solutions. Shih Hor plays a critical role in overseeing the strategic direction, planning, operations and business development for the company.

Under Shih Hor’s agile and dynamic leadership, Elixir has helped many enterprises across industry verticals transform their business digitally via smart nation solutions incorporating big data analytics and visualisation, video analytics, IoT integration among others.

A frequent speaker at events across the world, Shih Hor has successfully led the company into the global scene with Elixir’s suite of Business Intelligence products to more than 600 customers in over 80 countries.  Shih Hor is a recipient of the SCS Fellowship, an honour conferred upon individuals with significant contributions to the IT industry in Singapore.

Michael Yap

Michael Yap is the founder of TNB Ventures, a next generation venture capital and accelerator firm.  He is also a Professor (Adjunct) at National University of Singapore.

He was the CEO/Deputy CEO at various Singapore technology and media agencies. He was at Media Development Authority (MDA) of Singapore where he had oversight of all regulatory, licensing and policy matters related to media. Concurrently, he headed the national Interactive Digital Media (IDM) Program Office chartered to develop the new interactive sector in Singapore. He managed a $500 million development fund to help ignite and develop this new sector. 

Michael was the CEO of National Computer Board (NCB), the national authority responsible for Singapore’s overall IT policies and implementations, and a pre-cursor to the present-day Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (iMDA). At the NCB, Michael spearheaded various national programs to establish Singapore as an icon for info-communications adoption and innovation in the region.

Michael was the Managing Director of the world’s leading enterprise software company. He was responsible for the company’s activities in Singapore and business development across the Asia Pacific region.

Michael was the founder and CEO of a software product company. Michael started and built up a presence in more than 30 countries in Asia.  He led its successful divestment to public listed companies in India and Singapore.

He has been involved with the venture capital industry as a Venture Partner at one of Singapore’s most established VC firms. He was also Chairman of a mid-size government-backed VC fund. 

Michael has been on the board of directors of various public listed and private companies in Singapore and Malaysia. He had served as a board member of various public organizations including Singapore Science Center, Media Development Authority, National Computer Board, and member of the Board of Trustees, Singapore Institute of Technology. 

He has been recognized for his contributions including the World Economic Forum as one of the “Top 100 Future Global Leaders” and BusinessWeek as one of “50 Stars of Asia”.

With over two decades of technology software business and managed services experiences, Benjamin lead digital transformation and cybersecurity technology innovation ranging from hardware processors, operating system, middleware, network, applications and mobile. A techno purer who also held senior management positions in multi-national companies including Oracle Tech, Fusion Middleware, IBM, CA and Temasek companies in key regional leadership roles, driving a large part of the software and managed services business.

He is a trusted Singapore government board member, national research foundation technology, manpower development, venture capital and digital economy advisor.

Craig is currently leading a privately owned regional IT distributor and he has over 28 years of expertise, experience and passion for the ICT industry (Enterprise 24 + Consumer 4 years).   Previously, he had worked for four global leaders (Fortune 100 and 500) – Samsung Electronics, CISCO, Southmark (Fujitsu) and Harris Lanier.

Craig is a driven business leader who takes pride in achieving outstanding results and building world class organizations. In his current role, he is responsible for leading ACA Pacific, a privately owned Regional IT Distributor which has been in operation for over 28 years.  His focus is to transform the current business to be a leading regional distributor with strong capabilities to deliver new business consumption models and leverage the new digital marketing arena.  

At Samsung (2011 -2014), he was the Vice President for Samsung's Enterprise, Small & Medium Business and New Growth Engines for South East Asia and ANZ.  At Cisco (1998 to 2011), he took on various roles (MD of Singapore & Brunei and VP for the APAC Consumer Div) and had an excellent track record for achieving results.

As part of his own professional development, he was a councillor for 10 years and a Vice Chairman of SGTech, board member of DBS Innovation Board and was a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce for five years.

Ivan Chang Weilong

Ivan Chang serves as the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Wonderlabs.io. Through its seven campuses in Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore, Wonderlabs.io helps companies build and manage offshore software development teams. As the Executive Chairman, Ivan also oversees investor relations and helped the firm acquire more than S$500,000 in start-up capital in 2015 from SPH Media Fund and Click Ventures. Wonderlabs.io has successfully serviced a wide range of clients, among them the National University of Singapore and MyRepublic Group.

A firm believer in giving back to the enterprise community, Ivan also spearheaded SMUpreneurs, the Singapore Management University (SMU)’s largest alumni interest group. Founded in 2015 to promote entrepreneurship amongst alumni, the group boasts a membership of more than 300 businesses founded or run by an SMU alumnus. Its events and programmes have also engaged more than 750 alumni.

Being an SMU alumni has reminded Ivan of the importance of a holistic education for the next generation. In this vein, Wonderlabs Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm, has gifted the university with an endowment fund. Valued at S$200,000, the fund aims to help less-privileged students attend overseas exposure programme.

Ivan also volunteers extensively with Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore and has granted more than 100 wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. Having contributed to the cause for more than 10 years, Ivan was appointed as a director on the board of Make-A- Wish Foundation Singapore in 2018. His efforts to nurture and uplift Singapore’s youth were also recognised by the National Youth Council, which made Ivan a Board Member of the Youth Corps Singapore.

A serial entrepreneur, Ivan began his start-up journey at the age of 14. His first company, an apparel printing and corporate gifts firm, was set up with just S$72 and sold five years later. His journey reached a new high 2011, when he co-founded his first start-up with Keith Tan. That social enterprise was acquired in 2015 by a Singapore-based company, in an acquisition valued at S$530,000. 

Ivan graduated from SMU in 2014 a Bachelor of Business Management. Besides a Bachelors in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, he also holds various professional qualifications, among them Chartered Accountant (non-practising) and Certified Financial Analyst. In his spare time, Ivan is an adventurous traveller, with a free fall parachuting and skydiving licence.

Mark Shmulevich
Chief Operations Officer

Mark Shmulevich is group Chief Operations Officer at Taiger, AI solution provider for Knowledge Work Automation.
 
Born in Moscow, Mark is a permanent resident of Singapore now.
 
He graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with honours, where he earned his B.A., MSc and PhD degrees in applied mathematics, focusing on data mining. Mark then led the business development division of the largest Russian space technology corporation and has supervised establishment of the first US-Russia joint venture in satellite navigation. He also launched an international research centre in quantum physics in Russia and brought the centre’s research focus to steady state as Chief Development Officer.

From 2012 to 2014, Mark served as Russia’s Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Technologies of Russia. He elaborated a nationwide IT industry support strategy, introduced a 50% tax benefit for small IT businesses and increased the number of free slots for students to get higher education in IT. During his term, Mark was also
overseeing the interaction between the government and IT associations and Expert councils on IT in Russia.
 
From 2014 to 2018, Mark was group Chief Strategy and Operations Officer at Acronis, a data protection company with international HQ in Singapore.
 
Mark is certified as an Independent Director by INSEAD Business School and has delivered lectures on innovation strategy and technology commercialisation in various organisations. He was recognized as Global Shaper by World Economic Forum (WEF).

Nicholas Lee

Nicholas Lee has been the Chief Executive Officer of EZ-Link Pte Ltd since October 2011 where he oversees the company’s strategic direction and growth. He drives the adoption, transactions and applications of EZ-Link, the leading contactless smart card that serves millions of commuters and consumers in Singapore daily.

A prime mover of Singapore’s e-payment industry transformation over the past 20 years, Nicholas led the implementation of Singapore’s public transport contactless multi-purpose stored value card system and the development of the ez-link card business model. In recent years, Nicholas has broken new ground in e-payments with innovations including the world’s first Near Field Communication (NFC) mobile application for contactless card top-ups, the first NFC payment service for Singapore’s public transit and EZ-Pay, Singapore’s first free card-less electronic toll payment service.

Nicholas is the Chief Executive Officer of Huawei International since Dec 2018.

He has held various positions at Huawei in different regions throughout his tenure with the company. He has 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to his current role, he was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Philippines from 2014 to 2018 (Nov).

From 2011 to 2014, Mr. Ma was the Vice President of Global Wireless Marketing & Solutions Sales Department in Huawei Headquarters in Shenzhen. From 2008 to 2011, he was the Head for Wireless Marketing & Solution Sales Dept. of Huawei India Region Office.  Meanwhile he has attended and organized the important ICT projects in over 40 countries from 2005 to 2008.

Paul Lim

Mr Paul Lim is the Executive Chairman of investment and consultancy company Fidelium Group. Fidelium Group is headquartered in Singapore with offices in Thailand, Laos and Hong Kong. Prior to Fidelium Group, Paul was the CEO of Secura Group Limited, a company which he founded in 2010 and listed on the Singapore Exchange Catalist Board in 2016. Before entering the private sector, Paul served 19 years in the Singapore Police Force in various senior positions.  

Paul is an active contributor to the business ecosystem and has served on various committees or sub-committees in the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI), SGTech, Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), Association of Small and Medium Entreprises (ASME), ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network (AMEN), Hong Kong-ASEAN Economic Co-operation Foundation (HKAECF) and the Security Industry Transformation Map (ITM) Tripartite Committee. Paul has investments in both new technology and traditional businesses, and mentors several start-ups. 

Paul was a recipient of the prestigious Singapore Police Force overseas scholarship in 1990 and graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 1993 and a Master of Arts in 1997. In 2002, he obtained a Master in Public Management (Lee Kuan Yew Fellowship Programme) from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore under a Singapore Police Force postgraduate scholarship, which included half a semester at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

Priscilla Chong

Priscilla Chong is the Managing Director of Hewlett Packard Enterprise for Singapore. She began her career with HP in 2004 as a financial services manager and has since held several executive positions in Technology Asset Management. Her last appointment was the Head of Sales for Asia Pacific region in HPE Financial Services, driving sales strategies in customers’ digital transformation through technology economics and finance solutions. Prior to joining HP, Priscilla worked for HSBC where she was responsible for credit and business development in structured finance.
 
Priscilla has more than 2 decades of regional business and leadership experience in championing customer innovation and partner strategic engagements with business outcomes. Her passion is in pursuing new growth initiatives and building strong relationships with key customers and partners. 
 
Priscilla graduated in 1993 in Business majoring in Financial Analysis from the Nanyang Technological University.

Shaikh Ismail

Shaikh Ismail is a Managing Director with Accenture, responsible for developing and driving growth across Accenture’s consulting, technology and outsourcing businesses in APAC. He serves as a client account lead for the Software and Platforms portfolio of clients in the Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) industry vertical.

Over Shaikh’s 14-year career, he has helped clients adapt and transform their businesses to reach the next level of performance. He has served as a business and technology architect bringing new and innovative ideas along with the broadest range of capabilities to his clients. Shaikh spends a significant part of his time, outside of work, serving the community. He currently serves as the Chairperson of Pasir Ris Active Ageing Committee and sits on the Board of Governors of the Institute of Technical Education. He also concurrently serves as a Member of the Electronics and Info-Comm Technology Academic
Advisory Committee for ITE.

He is passionate about technology and how it can be used as a multiplier to lift lives. He started TechX, an Accenture CSR program, aimed at providing the right opportunities for beneficiaries to learn and develop capabilities in technology to better empower individuals to create, innovate and improve their quality of life.

Sharon Teo
Chief Executive Officer
Inspire-Tech Pte Ltd

Sharon Teo co-founded Inspire-Tech in 2000 after starting out from the financial industry. Passionate about IT and driven to disrupt status quos, Sharon goes from strength to strength to build enterprise solutions, cultivate a dynamic culture and develop sustainable relationships with partners and customers. She has led Inspire-Tech from a humble start-up to an international organisation. Sharon is appointed as the CEO from January 2018 and plays a critical role in the strategic direction, business development and operations for the company.
 
In addition to her role at Inspire-Tech, Sharon is serving as the Chairman of the Singapore Enterprise Chapter of SGTech. She is an active contributor in SGTech’s Talent Committee to advocate talent interests for Singapore enterprises.
 
Sharon graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a business degree. She is married with three children and has a passion for reading and travelling.

Ameet Nivsarkar

Tata Consultancy Services Asia Pacific Pte Ltd
 

Ameet Nivsarkar was appointed to the role of Country Manager for TCS Singapore in January 2019. In this role, he has complete P&L responsibility for the geography. Prior to this, Ameet headed the Corporate Affairs function at TCS where he was responsible for Public Policy, Advocacy and related stakeholder engagements globally.

With extensive hands-on experience working with varied stakeholders in North America, Europe and Asia, Ameet brings strong global focus and insights to his new role. Leveraging his connections with government, academia, trade bodies, think tanks and media across the globe, he is focused on engaging and driving digital transformation for organizations in Singapore.A board member of multiple trade bodies and think-tanks, he has also been the President of the Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India (CEUCCI).

Before TCS, Ameet was a part of the leadership team at NASSCOM, the apex body of the Indian Technology industry, where he led NASSCOM’s international practice and cyber security initiatives. He has extensive experience in the information technology sector and over the past 23 years has worked in various positions across the globe, ranging from hands-on operations to strategic planning and policy. He has successfully demonstrated an ability to deliver in familiar and unfamiliar circumstances and is comfortable with building and managing teams.

Ameet holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, underpinned by a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and is based in Singapore. His passions include travelling and sports.

Arthur Tang
Head, Enterprise Business Group
StarHub Ltd
 
Arthur is responsible for driving the next growth phase of StarHub enterprise business by deepening the engagement with clients and business community at large. He is also an advocate for client experience and spent significant time promoting and building a client obsessed organization.

Prior to joining StarHub, he worked for Hewlett Packard Enterprise and IBM. His most recent stint was with Hewlett Packard Enterprise as Director and General Manager of Commercial and Public Sector for Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Arthur holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Communications Engineering with first-class honours from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. He has attended INSEAD – StarHub Leadership Development Programme.

Ben King
Country Director
Google Singapore
 
Ben King was appointed as Country Director for Google Singapore in mid-2019 and is responsible for Google’s sales and business development operations both within the country and as a hub for the region. 

Prior to this appointment, Ben ran sales and business development operations for Google Thailand between 2015 and 2019. He has also worked with various Google businesses across a diverse range of countries in South and Southeast Asia including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan,  Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Before joining Google in 2012, Ben worked at Microsoft Advertising Australia. Joining the business shortly after its launch in the country, he held a number of roles as the business grew into a significant player within the performance marketing space.  

Ben has a BA in Media and Communications from the University of Sydney, Australia, majoring in Media, History and Ancient History.

David Siah

Trend Micro (Singapore) Pte Ltd
 

David Siah is a cyber-security practitioner and is actively involved in promoting cyber-security activities in Singapore and the APAC region. He is currently the Vice President, Channels (APAC, Middle East and Africa) for Trend Micro (2017-current), responsible for the Reseller, Distributor, GSI and Telco business operations and technical enablement across 37 countries.

Prior to this role, he was the Country Manager for Trend Micro’s Singapore and Indonesian offices (2012-2017) and set up the regional TrendLabs cybersecurity incidence response center in Singapore in 2013 and concurrently served as its Director till 2016. He also concurrently served a stint as the head of sales enablement and coached over 80 new account managers across the region (2017-2019).

Trend Micro is a pure-play cybersecurity company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and is a Gartner leader in both endpoint and network security.

Dutch Ng 
Co-Founder and CEO
i-Sprint Innovations Pte Ltd

Dutch Ng, the co-founder and chief executive officer of i-Sprint, has been working for the company since 2000. Dutch is instrumental in providing strategic leadership in business development strategy and product directions. He plays a key role in managing the financial and business performance of the company.  

Over the past 20 years, Dutch held senior management and executive-level positions for high tech companies and took on various challenging and operational roles with regional responsibilities.  His vast operational experience has helped him to develop a wealth of practical and hands-on experiences in managing the critical operations from professional services organization, administration, and finance to customer care operations. He has worked in many countries such as the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand and is fluent in speaking many languages.

Before co-founding i-Sprint, Dutch spent four years in Citibank Regional Asia Pacific Technology Group, and he was responsible for implementing and deploying of technology solutions for the bank branches across 14 countries in the Asia Pacific region.

Currently, Mr Ng is the Chairman of Cybersecurity Chapter at SGTech and a member of Technical Work Group for Cybersecurity at WorldSkills Singapore. 

Dutch received his Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Adelaide, Australia.

Guna has been in the IT software industry for over 25 years in various leadership roles. Currently, he is the country manager for Singapore at Red Hat, where he leads sales and business development activities in the country. Over the years, Guna has been extensively involved in the implementation of complex analytics solutions such as supply chain, customer experience and risk management across the world in various industries ranging from financial services, government, manufacturing and retail.

Prior to joining Red Hat, Guna was the General Manager for Cloud & Cognitive Solutions at IBM Singapore. He also held leadership positions at JDA Software and Oracle.

Guna graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Honors). He maintains an active presence in the local cloud community as VP of the SCS Cloud Chapter, and as the Vice-Chairman of the SGTech Cloud & Data Chapter.

Guna is also an active NS Volunteer recognized with the National Commendation Medal and as a NS Man of the Year.

Jeremy Tan

Liquid Group Pte Ltd

Jeremy is a veteran in the financial technology industry, having launched, co-invested, built and divested multiple successful technology companies in the past decade. His latest venture being the founder and CEO of Liquid Group Pte Ltd, a mobile payment platform company headquartered in Singapore, with presence in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.

Jeremy served as Honorary Secretary in SGTech from 2018 to 2019. From 2009 to 2017, Jeremy was on the board of Infocomm Investment Pte Ltd (now SGInnovate) and prior to this, he sat on the Board of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) between 2009 and 2013, where he also served on the Investment Committee.

Jeremy holds a Master of Science (Comparative Politics) from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Engineering from King’s College London.

Lim Soon Tein

Mr Lim started his career with Republic of Singapore Navy and was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Military) in 2003. His last appointment was Dy Commander, Naval Logistics Command. Currently, he is the Vice President, Technology in ST Electronics (InfoSoftware Systems). 

Prior to this appointment, he was Head of IT for ST Electronics as well as Head of IT Service Delivery for ST Engineering Group. Before he moved into his IT role, he was a Business Unit Head in InfoSoftware for 7 years.

Martin Chee
Managing Director
IBM Singapore Pte Ltd
 

Martin Chee was appointed as the Managing Director for IBM Singapore in April 2020. In his new role, Martin brings deep industry experience to spearhead IBM's digital transformation initiatives to Singapore. He will be responsible for business growth and strengthening IBM’s partnership with clients as they deploy cloud and cognitive capabilities to drive the digital transformation of their businesses.

Prior to this role, Martin was Vice President for IBM Analytics in the Asia Pacific region with responsibility for helping clients leverage emerging technology to modernise and unlock the value of their data assets. A senior leader with two decades of regional experience, Martin started his career with IBM Singapore in the Software Group in 2001. Throughout his career with IBM, Martin has held various leadership positions in Services, Software and Enterprise sales in the Asia Pacific region.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the National University of Singapore and started his career as an Intellectual Property lawyer before switching to the IT industry.

Serene Sia
Managing Director, ASEAN
Autodesk Asia Pte Ltd

Serene Sia is Autodesk’s Managing Director for ASEAN, responsible for driving Autodesk’s business strategy and market expansion across all sales channels, and accelerating subscriber growth for the company’s extensive portfolio of 3D design solutions.

Serene has over 25 years of sales and leadership experience in the software industry across the Asia Pacific. As a female leader in the technology sector, Serene is regularly invited to speak and champion for women within the technology sector. Serene was also selected for Singapore’s Top 100 Women in Technology this year, an award which recognizes and celebrates inspiring women who have made significant contributions to the tech industry.

Serene joined Autodesk from Oracle Corporation where she was the Vice President of Cloud Platform Sales, and also the Country Managing Director in Singapore. Prior to her tenure at Oracle, she was the Managing Director at Presence of IT Asia, where she was responsible for operations and leadership across all business units in Asia.

Prior to that, she was Area VP, Enterprise Strategic Sales, APAC, at Salesforce, responsible for strategy and execution of Top and Strategic Accounts within
the region. Prior to joining Salesforce.com, Serene was Managing Director for SAP Malaysia and Brunei, responsible for all business functions and business groups, including Enterprise and SME software and services. She managed a team of over 130 dedicated sales, business development and solution professionals, while overseeing the company's operations and driving revenue for the Malaysia and Brunei markets.

Serene was also formerly Vice President Strategic Accounts for SAP South East Asia, managing the largest and highest revenue producing accounts in the region.

Chong Mien’s career has been driven expansively in bringing enterprise technology and the associated disruptive business model to market in the Asia Pacific region. Currently, Chong Mien is Managing Director of NEC APAC where he is responsible for the overall Singapore Operations and regional Public Safety business portfolio.

Previously Chong Mien was Head of Global Communications, Media and Technology. His portfolio includes establishing regional management team to drive NCS digital product and solution business revolving Smart City, IoT and Data Fusion across Asia Pacific. Prior to joining NCS, Chong Mien is Vice President of Enterprise Business Group in StarHub where he heads the enterprise sales division responsible for government, global accounts, SMB and media solution business.

Chong Mien also held leadership positions in sales management, channels management, business development with MNCs such as IBM Asia Pacific, Sun Microsystems, Oracle Asia Pacific with a proven track record of building high performance teams and partner ecosystems across the region.

Chong Mien received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Information Science, and was awarded the top scholar in the Marketing School at IBM Asia Pacific Education Centre.

Chong Mien is married, an avid Ironman triathlete and a member of his church social concerns committee.

Saw Ken Wye, CEO of CrimsonLogic, focuses on managing and sustaining growth and business viability for the company. He is also responsible for leading the business teams in growing customer relationships and driving sales in regions such as Asia, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Caribean, as well as developing new market opportunities in the rest of the world.

Prior to joining CrimsonLogic in 2013, Ken Wye was Microsoft’s Vice President for Public Sector (Asia), responsible for the company’s business with Government and Government organizations across Asia. Ken Wye worked in Microsoft for nearly 16 years and started his IT career with the National Computer Board (NCB) in 1983.

P Balachandran has been with the firm for more than 25 years and is currently a Senior Consultant.
 
Bala began professional practice as a litigator in 1978 mainly in company, banking, construction and engineering disputes. He broadened his experience by working for an English magic circle firm in London and Hong Kong.
 
Bala provides advisory services to mainly foreign clients for matters in Singapore, South East Asia countries, China, Taiwan, Japan and Australia. For some clients he performs in-house counsel’s functions. He has experience with large infrastructure projects particularly commercial developments, land reclamation and marine works, train systems, topside fabrication and oil and gas processing plants.
 
Additionally, Bala has been appointed arbitrator by both the Singapore Institute of Arbitration Centre and the International Chamber of Commerce, Paris. 

Bala’s specialised portfolio includes matters relating to construction and engineering, infocomm technology and commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions and negotiating and drafting diverse commercial agreements.
