SGTech Hosts Curtin University MBA (Global) Programme Students Delegation from Australia
On 23rd April, SGTech welcomed 28 MBA (Global) Programme students from Curtin University in Australia to Singapore with a tour of Launchpad. SGTech took this opportunity to share insights from the tech sector with the visiting student delegation. The informational session provided the students and young professionals and potential entrepreneurs with a snapshot of the start-up ecosystem in Singapore. During the Q&A session, the delegation demonstrated enthusiasm in Singapore’s tech industry and related sectors. Building strong academic relationships both locally in Singapore and abroad with partnering institutes of higher learning, is an integral part of SGTech’s dedication to talent and capability development for the tech industry.
The student delegation toured the co-working spaces of SGTech and the Launchpad, Singapore’s own version of Silicon Valley, and got a first-hand taste of what startup life and culture is like in the Garden City. Learning about the roots of Ayer Rajah Industrial Estate provided the MBA candidates with historical context of Singapore’s technology landscape and provided perspective to it’s vision for the future.
