Chapter Networking Sessions! - AIHPC & DXC

Our Artificial Intelligence & High-Performance Computing Chapter, as well as the Digital Transformation Chapter had their respective Networking Nights in the past month.

Beyond AI & HPC – Celebrating a Night of Friendships

On 15 February, members of SGTech’s AI & High-Performance Computing (HPC) Chapter gathered at J Collyer, M Hotel Singapore for an exclusive evening of networking, dinner and drinks. Mr Richard Koh, Chairman of AI & HPC Chapter, introduced the Executive Committee who has been driving the directive of the Chapter and members who were present that day, as well as focus areas. This day also saw the official launch of AI & HPC LinkedIn group exclusive to members of the Chapter. This serves as a platform to share knowledge, thoughts and feedback useful to the broader community.

As a relatively new technology area, the Chapter will continue with efforts in creating opportunities for SGTech members to learn more about AI & HPC, and the resources available to everyone. The Chapter will also deep-dive into applications of AI & HPC, starting with the security and education sectors.

You Technologies Group also elaborated on Youtrip, a multi-currency mobile currency developed by EZ Link. Based on a concept that allows Singaporeans to spend wiser overseas, it is specially designed for travellers to spend abroad with no foreign exchange rates in over 150 currencies. A booth was also set-up to showcase Youtrip and EZ Link's latest services.

Foo Si Yun, Lead, Industry Alliance remarked: "We thank EZ Link for their generous support for this event and hope this was an insightful and useful session for our members. As businesses increasingly adopt technology and digitalisation being the buzzword for many businesses, it is important for businesses to be plugged in the digital space. We look forward to members joining our space!"

SGTech members ended the evening with fine wine and sumptuous food as they networked with both industry veterans and newcomers alike.
